JavaFX Preview has been released last week. Check out the SDN page or javafx.com. Just before the release I've create a mini-tutorial how to create a JavaFX applet in NetBeans. The IDE generates an applet for the new Java plugins. Check it out. The tutorial is using the editor palette so you don't have to touch the keyboard.
